Cinco de Mayo, Watchmen, and some other stuff
Anyway, yesterday, Alonso and I headed down to Sparks to the Cinco de Mayo end there (organized by the Nevada Hispanic Services ). To be proper, it wasn’t what I was in a family way. I was preggers a big old festivities, with dancing and impedimenta, but alas, no. It was more corporations flogging their products and services to Hispanics and lots of nourishment – nachos, tacos, corn, Mexican bon-bons… mouth-watering.

After Cinco de Mayo we went to the Stately Sierra Talkie theater to see Watchmen. Alonso has been inadequate to see this for ages, and I’ve been dithering. It’s not actually my congenial of videotape – I don’t like power or sci-fi movies, and I affected this would be both. Large mystery scanty, Alonso didn’t like it, and I loved it. Having said that, the tidings took from A to Z a while to exploit, and some of it felt prolix and didn’t indeed add much to the total talkie. Gran Sierra, by the way, is a enormous group to see a motion picture – We only paid $3 each (I’m not persuaded if it’s that all the moment, though), and they have couches!

I had to submit a old my settled day of labour last week, which made me a not enough sad. This whole position, which I didn’t as a matter of fact have much habits to look into view to, is all coming to an end. I’ve got my sure calculate to be working on, tying up all the down ends, and before I recollect it, I’ll be back in Belfast in absolute year. Speaking of which, lodge (well, apartment) hunting, is proving to be trickier than we contemplating. All the excessive places are for June rents, and whilst I’d be euphoric to pay for 1 month that I’m not customary to be there, there’s no way I’m paying 3. *sigh* I dare say it’ll be okay in the end…
