Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to open in Littleton

In augmentation to the new 31,000 square foot movie theater, the redeveloped center will include 10,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant period. The project also includes a public green space that will connect the cinema to the main shopping area as well as put on the market entertainment and relaxation space for customers. The new space can also include outdoor seating for future restaurant tenants, as well as a lay out for outdoor events and activities.

"This is an exciting project for area residents as it will further solidify Aspen Grove as the leading entertainment target in the area by offering a unique movie going experience, as well as great options for outdoor dining and entertainment," said Margie Munoz, inclusive manager of Aspen Grove.

Demolition of the former Big Bowl and Buca Di Beppo restaurants is expected to begin by the end of the year. The new film theater, retail building and public green space are all expected to be open by fall 2012.

"This project will set forth additional choice and value to shoppers and provide jobs and revenue to the City of Littleton. We are grateful for the living expenses of City Council Member Debbie Brinkman and nearby residents as we work to make this project a fact," concluded Munoz.
