Monday: Feels Great!

Well, hello there! I daydream you all had a good week, and before we tear into another week’s worth of crossword puzzles, I’d like to truly thank Thomas Gaffney for stepping up to the plate and batting them out of the park while I was off mopping my brow. Tom did an excellent job, as did the wonderful players in the dugout who helped underwrite him, and they all deserve a round of applause from the fans in the stands. I’d throw some more baseball metaphors in there, but that’s moderately much all I’ve got. My point is, he did a great job and I had a wonderful vacation, so thanks again, Tom.

O.K., back to work. Hands up if you’ve ever hidden the TV irrelevant from a roommate/spouse/significant other. It doesn’t matter if it’s because you feel a secret kinship with the abstracted (we don’t judge) and don’t want anyone else to hold it, or if it’s because the other person is a Remote Hog and you’ve simply had it with them. It’s annoying enough when you can’t find the slight so you can escape The Golf Channel and find that Netflix movie that you’ve been dying to watch. Today, our own Patrick Merrell is back, and he’s veiled the whole television set on us. A lot.

Entertainment Center/TV Stand advice?

I beg to get a new TV stand entertainment center. I just bought a 50 "flat screen and entertainment centers all sitting so low. I have a son one year old who likes to beat on things, so I'm irritating to find one that is recovering higher.

Has he put on the equipment on the wall? Some games come with a wall, check to Wall Mart or somewhere for one, is that the line for you, GOOD LUCK and God bless you and hammer.
