Bloomingdale's kicks off its country-wide partnership with NBC. In each of the Bloomingdale's stores across the country, Bloomingdale's customers will have the opportunity to participate in a cutting-brim, augmented reality opportunity. From September 8-25, shoppers will be invited to walk the red carpet and via Augmented Actuality application called Goldrun. Customers will be able to download characters from the NBC shows to their iPad2, iPhone3G and iPhone4 and break off a photo with them. Upon participation, they will be entered to win a sweepstakes featuring 25 random $100 gift cards a day. They will also be entered to win a revered prize walk-on role in "The Playboy Club," a $5,000 Bloomingdale's shopping spree or a first prize sprawl to Los Angeles for a set visit to one of NBC's new fall shows including a cast meet-and-greet.
