On dispense were Nacie Smith of Pensacola, area general manager of Rooms to Go; Frankie Jones of Burlington, N.C., president and CEO of Phoenix One; Mary Zoghby, principal director of Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama; Sen. Rusty Glover, R-Semmes; Mobile County commissioner Connie Hudson; Responsive County School Board president Ken Megginson; Diane Moore, Semmes Woman’s Brotherhood representative; Terri Nelson, Friends of Semmes representative; and other invited guests.
Of the beautiful new room, Zoghby said: “We are far downwards grateful to good corporate friends like Rooms To Go. Without their help, we could not continue to expand services to one's duty the children of Mobile County better. This new room will give the members of the Semmes club additional space in which to participate in nightclub activities.”
The Semmes Club, established in 1999, continues to grow year by year and is now the largest in the system, Zoghby said. DeWitt added: “The sceptre, and certainly our many dedicated community volunteers and supporters, are as excited over this wonderful room as are the club members. It can be acquainted with not only for playing video games, but also for learning new skills.”
