The sofa well-deserved appeared one day. Right there on the flat slab of sprawling concrete in the hang-out place otherwise known as the Oakdale glimpse.
No one's really sure how it got there. Or when. Or why.
Fact is, most of us wouldn't care anyway.
Like a sun worshipper baked by too many UV rays, it's become a casualty of the elements. Missing its posteriors cushions, its maybe-checked-maybe-plaid fabric is bleached beyond identifiable colour. Innards yellowed and crumbling, it's been disemboweled for the faction to see.
Suffice to say, its the sort of chesterfield one might only approach with a protective layer of latex.
Unwanted. Abandoned. Smelly. Meant for the dump if fate hadn't intervened.
But in a rather odd turn of events, it's value has been reaffirmed by a bunch of kids with skateboards.
In episode, the day it appeared, if anyone actually remembers, the collective thought might very well be summed up in a word. Sick. (As in super cool.)
Sofa/loveseat is plaid, big dark blue stripe, smaller red/green stripes. What color curtains are best?
I do not ask my room look too dark. I "sand" color of paint on the walls (the walls were painted when I had learned a sofa green). The carpet is the color of oats and I have red carpet.
In the flesh I would use oatmeal colored curtains. It is calm all the colors so it doesn't look like youre getting your life compartment ready for a fiesta.
